Bake sale
Enter your cakes with prices once. You get price tags, a helper list with “Who bakes what?” and a till sheet with a tally list, all as a PDF. At the sales table the receipt calculator adds up the total and the change. The PDF is in German, for German schools.
What goes into the PDF?
Occasion
What you enter stays on this page, your browser remembers nothing.
Printed small at the bottom of every price tag.
Cakes and prices
The note is optional, for example “contains nuts” or “vegan”. “Muffin 1.50” without a semicolon works too. At most 60 cakes, prices up to 999.99 €.
Helpers
Time and places are optional, without them there are 2 places. At most 20 tasks and 8 places per task.
Preview
The preview appears in a moment.
When printing, choose “Actual size” or “100%”. The price tags are 85 by 60 millimetres, you cut them out along the lines.
Receipt calculator
For each cake, enter how many pieces a customer takes. The list comes from “Cakes and prices” above.
As soon as the cake list is correct, the calculator appears here.
Receipt
Total:
Goes well with: volunteer rota for club events (German) · price tags for markets (German) · cash book (German) · organising a club party (German)
Nothing leaves this device. The lists and all amounts stay in your browser, the PDF is made here and is not uploaded.
How it works
- 01Choose the parts, enter the name of the bake sale and the cakes with prices. The preview shows the first page.
- 02Add helpers and download the PDF. Cut out the price tags, put up the helper list, keep the till sheet at the cash desk.
- 03At the sales table, type the quantities into the calculator, enter “Given” and read off the change. “Next customer” clears the quantities.
Calculating. All amounts are calculated in whole cents, never with decimal fractions. Prices have at most two decimal places. The calculator is no substitute for bookkeeping: for the income of a club or a school, the rules of your organisation apply, for example on handling cash and on donation receipts.
Allergens. The note on the tag helps buyers, it does not replace the bakers’ own information. Ask about ingredients before you write “vegan” or “nut free” on a tag.
Limits. Only the font Helvetica, which every PDF program knows: characters from outside Western Europe appear as question marks, and the page tells you. A4 portrait, black on white. The quantities in the calculator stay on this page only and are gone after a reload.
