Invitations and letters to parents

Stella the stork brings the post: invitation cards for a children's birthday party with the name of every guest, and letters to parents for daycare and school with a slip to return. Ready as a PDF to print.

Leave empty if it should not be on the card.

For example: Bring rubber boots, the party is in the woods. Up to 200 characters.

Motif

A character from the kids area as a line drawing. The child can color it before handing out the cards.

One name per line, up to 40. Each card then starts with “Hello Name!”. Without names there is a line to fill in.

Cards per A4 sheet

Two cards per sheet, each the size of A5 landscape.

Preview

The calendar file (.ics) comes as soon as the date is complete. Parents open it on their phone or computer, and the event lands in their calendar.

When printing, choose “Actual size” or “100%”. Everything is black on white, a normal printer is enough. With several cards per sheet, cut along the gray lines.

Your browser remembers nothing. If you want to keep your entries, save them as a file on your own device.

Goes well with: Place cards · Vouchers · Crown and bunting to craft · Recipe cards for baking · Friendship book pages

Names and addresses stay on this device. The PDF is made here in the browser, nothing is saved or sent.

Note for parents and teachers
  1. 01Invitation: Enter name, age, date, time and place, choose a motif. Fields you leave empty get a line for writing by hand.
  2. 02Enter guests: Every guest gets a card of their own with their name. Without guests you get as many cards as you set.
  3. 03Letter to parents: Insert a template, adjust the text, print with or without a reply slip.

Event in the calendar. From date, time and place the tool makes a calendar event “Birthday party of …”. As a QR code on the card, parents read it with the camera of their phone; as a calendar file (.ics) you send it along in a message. The code holds only the event, no link and no address on the internet. The character moves up to make room for the code and gets a little smaller.

For kids to join in. The character and the pictures are line drawings. The birthday child can color every card before handing it out.

Children's data. Names are personal data. They are in the PDF and in the file from “Save as a file”, both made only on your device. The page remembers nothing.

Font. The text is set in Helvetica. Letters like ł or ș become the base letter, emoji are dropped; the tool says so at the field.
