Field trip and party

Enter the occasion, date and meeting point once. You get a consent form with a reply slip, a packing list, an emergency list, a pickup permission and a carpool list, all in one PDF. The PDF is in German, for German schools.

Applies to Germany. Deadlines, tax rates, public holidays and requirements on this page follow German law. Austria, Switzerland and other countries have different rules.

What goes into the PDF?

Occasion, date and meeting point

You enter this once and it appears in every part. Your entries stay on this page only, your browser remembers nothing.

Consent form

For example: Please give your child a packed lunch. At most 400 characters.

Packing list

At most 25 lines. Every line gets a box to tick off. The list is printed in German, so it is in German here too.

Emergency list

At most 100 children, 120 characters per note. The notes are health information: they stay on this device and appear only in your printout. You write the emergency numbers into the PDF by hand.

Carpool

One row per car, from 1 to 30.

When printing, choose “Actual size” or “100%”. The emergency list contains names and health information: do not pin it up, take it along and destroy it after the event.

Nothing leaves this device. Names, notes and all texts stay in your browser, the PDF is created here and is not uploaded.

How it works
  1. 01Choose the parts, then enter occasion, date and meeting point. They apply to all parts.
  2. 02Depending on the part, enter the packing list, the children with notes and the number of cars. The preview shows the first page.
  3. 03Download the PDF, print it, copy the reply slip and tear it off.

Reply slip. The consent form ends with a slip to tear off: the child's name, taking part, allergies, a phone number for the day and the signature. The parents fill it in by hand, none of it is typed in here.

Pickup permission. One page for one child. Copy it for every child.

Form of address. The consent form and the pickup permission address parents formally, as is usual at German schools. The packing list speaks to the children informally.

Limits. Only the Helvetica font, which every PDF program knows: characters outside Western Europe appear as question marks, and the page tells you. A4 portrait, black on white. The texts are templates, not legal advice. The rules for trips, supervision and consent are in the regulations of your federal state (Bundesland) and your organization. The note on child seats follows section 21 of the German road traffic regulations (StVO).
