Calendar
Year overview, monthly sheets or weekly sheets as a PDF, with the public holidays of your German state, ready to print.
Please enter a year between 2020 and 2040.
Decides which public holidays are marked. With “No public holidays”, only Saturday and Sunday are marked.
Twelve months on one sheet. A3 gives each day more room, but needs a printer that can do A3 (or the copy shop).
Twelve pages, one per month, with room for notes in every day box.
Always A4 in portrait: one sheet per calendar week, Monday to Sunday, with plenty of room for notes. A year has 52 or 53 calendar weeks, depending on how the weeks fall.
Birthdays and other fixed dates that should appear in the calendar, up to 500 entries.
No entries of your own yet.

the preview appears right away.
When printing, choose “Actual size” or “100%”, not “Fit to page”, otherwise the millimeters are no longer correct.
Need to work out dates, deadlines or age? Dates & deadlines · Packing list (German)
Everything stays on this device: Your entries are not saved or sent anywhere, only the PDF is made here in your browser.
How it works
- 01Choose the layout at the top: one page with all twelve months, twelve monthly sheets with room for notes, or one sheet per calendar week.
- 02Enter the year and the German state. Then the public holidays are marked and, on monthly and weekly sheets, labeled with their names.
- 03Add your own dates, download the PDF and print it at original size.
Public holidays. The list comes from the same module as “Dates & deadlines”: nationwide public holidays plus those of the chosen German state, all according to the respective holiday law. Easter Sunday is calculated with the Gauss Easter formula, not taken from a list. Two exceptions: Assumption Day (Mariä Himmelfahrt) applies in Bavaria only in mostly Catholic municipalities, but is marked there anyway; Corpus Christi (Fronleichnam) applies in Saxony and Thuringia only in individual municipalities and is therefore not marked there at all. Purely local public holidays are not included (for example the Augsburg Peace Festival). School holidays are left out on purpose: They change every year and every German state handles them differently, and without a server they cannot be kept up to date properly.
Your own entries. Every entry has a day, a month and a short text; “Every year” makes it recur (birthdays, anniversaries), switched off it applies to that one year only. A recurring February 29 appears only in leap years, because the day does not exist otherwise. The list stays on this sheet only: “Save to a file” writes it to a JSON file on your device, “Load from file” reads it back in. That way you take it along into next year without anything being saved anywhere.
Room for text. In the year overview every day box is tiny: It only shows the number, an outline around public holidays and a small dot if one of your own entries falls on that day. There is no room for the name. Monthly and weekly sheets have more space: The holiday name and your own entries are in the box, set smaller if necessary; if really everything no longer fits, the rest of the sheet is still left for your own notes by hand.
Limits. Years from 2020 to 2040, language German, font Helvetica, no moon phases. Umlauts, ß and the usual special characters work; emojis and scripts such as Cyrillic or Greek cannot be set in the PDF font and are left out of your own texts.
