Bingo and playing cards
Bingo cards from numbers, your own words or pictures, every card different, with a draw list to tick off. Plus term cards for Who am I, explaining, charades and drawing as a sheet to cut. For birthdays, class, preschool, senior groups and parties.
Numbers to call out, as in classic bingo.
Five columns B I N G O with 15 numbers each: B 1 to 15, I 16 to 30, N 31 to 45, G 46 to 60, O 61 to 75. Only with 5 × 5.
Whole numbers from 0 to 999, at most 500 different ones.
One line per word or separated by commas. With a semicolon, the left side is what goes on the card and the right side is what is read aloud: dog;woof or 12;3 × 4.
CSV from Excel: first column on the card, second column (if there is one) to read aloud. The words are added at the end of the list.
50 of 50 selected
50 simple picture symbols that the tool draws itself, for kids who cannot read yet. One press switches a symbol on or off.
Leave it empty for: BINGO
1 to 200. Every card has a number, and no two are put together the same way.
Two cards side by side on A4 landscape, each as big as A5.
1 to 999999. The same No. and the same settings give exactly the same cards and the same draw list.
One line per card: term;word 1;word 2 up to word 5. Only the explain card needs the words after the term. A line starting with # begins a category, for example: # Animals
CSV from Excel: first column the term, further columns the words. If a column is called “Category”, it becomes the category.
Only the term, as large as possible. Someone holds the card to their forehead, and the others give hints.
As big as common playing cards.
Leave it empty: the category, otherwise the card type.
The preview appears right away.
Draw list: all fields in mixed order to tick off. Draw slips: the same fields to cut out for the bowl.
When printing, choose “Actual size” or “100%”, not “Fit to page”, otherwise the card size and crop marks are off.
With a back: print on both sides and choose “flip on long edge”. Each front is followed by its back; the cards on it are mirrored so that each back lands exactly behind its card. Print one sheet as a test first.
Your browser remembers nothing. Save the lists and settings of both tabs as a JSON file on your device.
Someone calls bingo: enter the card number and what has been drawn so far, and the tool checks rows, columns, diagonals and full card.
The number is at the top right of the card.
If you read from the draw list: up to which number of the list has been drawn. Otherwise leave it empty.
Separated by commas or lines, for example: B 12, 47, O 70 or apple, pear.
Goes well with: Word search (German) · Crossword puzzles (German) · Preschool symbols (German) · Trading cards (German)
Nothing leaves this device. Lists, cards and PDF are made here in your browser, and nothing is saved.
How it works
- 01Bingo: choose numbers, your own words or picture symbols, and set the size and number. The preview shows the first page right away.
- 02Download the cards as a PDF, plus the draw list or draw slips for the game leader. Print at “Actual size” and cut at the crop marks.
- 03Term cards: enter one line per card, choose the card type and size, print the PDF and cut.
Different cards. No two bingo cards have the same combination of fields, not even in a different arrangement. Under “How many cards” it says how many different ones exist with your settings. If you want more than exist, you get a message with the maximum; nothing is cut down silently. Even so, two cards can finish on the same draw, for a row as well as for a full card: both were then missing the same field last. That is down to the game, not the cards. Agree beforehand how you split the prize in that case.
No. and chance. The No. is the starting value of the randomness. The same No. and the same settings give the same cards and the same draw list, even on another device. The cards are made in order: card 7 stays the same whether you print 10 or 200. The No. is in small print at the bottom of every card, on the draw list and on the slips.
Numbers. “1 to 75” is classic bingo with five columns B I N G O, ascending from top to bottom in each column; it exists only with 5 × 5. With a custom range the numbers are in no particular order. The free space exists only with 3 × 3 and 5 × 5, because 4 × 4 has no middle.
Words and type. All fields get the same type size. It depends on the word that needs the most room. A word that does not fit even when small is set smaller on its own, split in the middle of the word or shortened with “…”; the preview names it. The type is Helvetica: letters like ł or ș become the base letter, emoji and other scripts are dropped, and both are shown at the field. At most 500 different words, 100 characters per entry.
Check a win. The tool creates the card again from the No. and settings and compares it with what you enter as drawn. It only checks the card with the number you give and only with the current settings: if you change something in between, you check other cards. So save first.
Term cards. Who am I: only the term, large. Explain cards: the term and up to five words you must not say while explaining. Charades and drawing: the term with a small symbol for the type. Mixed: explaining, charades and drawing in turn, in the order of the list. Categories get a pattern at the left edge (up to eight, easy to tell apart even in black and white) and their name at the top of the card. At most 300 terms.
Sizes. 63 × 88 mm is a common playing card size, 9 per A4. Large is 90 × 130 mm, 4 per A4. Headband: 90 × 50 mm landscape, to pin to a headband with a clip or stick on with masking tape. Sticky note: 76 × 76 mm, as big as a common square sticky note, to cut out and stick on. The tool does not print on real sticky notes. There is no gap between the cards: one cut separates two cards. The text keeps 4 mm from the cut edge.
Backs. With double-sided printing on the long edge, the sheet is turned around the vertical axis. That is why the back of the card that is at the top left on the front is at the top right on the back. Whether your printer hits exactly shows in a test sheet held against the light; one to two millimeters of offset is normal.
Nothing is saved. The page remembers neither lists nor settings. If there are kids’ names in your lists, they are also in the PDF and in the file from “Save to a file”. Both are made only on your device. A file from another tool or with an unknown version is rejected instead of being loaded halfway.
