For email attachments and job application portals, 1920 px and JPG at quality 82 are usually enough. PNG is a good fit for screenshots and graphics with transparency. As a side effect, the new files contain no GPS or camera data. Only Safari can open HEIC photos from an iPhone. For other browsers, set the iPhone camera to “Most Compatible”.
